This keto bread happens to be my most favorite go to healthy breakfast recipe. It barely takes 10 mins and is super easy to make.
You can make two pieces of bread from this recipe, use it for sandwich, burger or even small pizzas. This recipe uses only few ingredients, coconut flour, coconut oil, eggs, baking powder, and salt and yet turns out super delicious. It gives you freshly made bread ready in less than 10 minutes! You can increase the quantity proportionately, make a batch and store them in the freezer for future use!
Remember, its a bit tricky to bake with coconut flour as it is fiber rich and tends to crumble easily. Sift the flour nicely, use eggs and don't keep adding more liquid than what is mentioned. Follow the exact recipe to get a good bake.
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 Tablespoon coconut flour
- 1 Tablespoon melted ghee/coconut oil/white butter
- 1/2 Cup water
- 1 Egg
- 1/8 Teaspoon sea salt/himalayan pink salt
- 1/4 Teaspoon Baking Powder
Instructions:
Use a microwave or preheat oven to 350 degrees
Blend together coconut flour, salt and baking powder
Separately blend egg,water and melted ghee/butter/coconut oil
Now add the dry ingredients in the wet ingredients a spoonful at a time and blend nicely
Allow the batter to sit for a few min for the liquid to get absorbed
Put half of the batter in the greased microwave dish/baking pan and spread batter into a circle shape that looks like a bun.
You can repeat this process for the rest of the batter. Microwave for 2 to 3 mins or bake for 10 minutes until it looks golden brown.
Make a salad with mashed beetroot, tomato, garlic, salt, oregano, lime juice and layer it on top of the bread. You can use any of your favorite topping for this and the bread is now ready to eat.
